This week I saw for the first time at Retrosaria Rosa Pomar the Michael Miller's fabrics... it is not easy to choose a favorite fabric or collection... but I must confess that I adore the "Atomic" theme fabrics. Here are some images.

No passado fim de semana vi o filme Pleasantville de Gary Ross… e adorei
o filme… e a casa e a decoração. De alguma forma, lembrou-me a casa dos meus falecidos avós maternos (alguns pormenores vintage como, por exemplo, a mesa da cozinha e papel de parede da casa de banho) . Adorável e retro!
Last weekend I’ve
watched Gary Ross movie Pleasantville… I loved it… and I
also loved the house and it’s interior decor. Somehow it reminded me of my late maternal grandparents home (for instance, some vintage details as the kitchen table and the bathroom wallpaper). Lovely and retro!

Chickpea salad with watercress
•2 red capsicums
•Coconut oil, for brushing
•2 Tbsp chèvre (soft goat cheese)
•2 tsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
•1 tsp extra-virgin olive oil
•1 tsp maple syrup or honey
•Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
•2 cups chickpeas
•1 small red onion, diced
•1 bunch watercress
Serves:4
Total time: 60 min
Directions
1. Slice capsicums in half, remove seeds, and rub the outside with a little coconut or olive oil. Place in an oven-proof dish and bake for approximately 45 minutes, until blistered and slightly blackened.
2. Remove capsicums from pan and place in an airtight container with a lid. (This allows for easy peeling, as the skin and fruit will separate.) Let cool for 10 minutes, then slide skins off.
3. In a blender or food processor, add remaining dressing ingredients and blend on high until smooth. Thin to desired consistency with olive oil or water. Season with salt and pepper.
4. Toss chickpeas with half of the dressing. Add red onion and fold to incorporate.
5. Arrange a bed of watercress on individual plates. Divide the dressed chickpeas among the plates, drizzle with extra dressing and olive oil (if desired), and adjust seasoning. Serve. (Store leftover dressing in the fridge.)
6. To make the dressing combine the roasted capsicums, goats cheese, lemon juice, olive oil, honey in a jar and shake to combine.
